Delicious English Fruit Cake

English Fruit Cake is a kind of cake that is typical and famous from England. This cake is made of dough filled with various kinds of dried fruit, such as raisins, currants, cherries, apricots, and dried orange peels. This cake combines sweet and savory flavors with the delicacy of dry fruits, creating an indulgent and delightful experience.

Ingredients :

  • Lurpark Butter 375 gr
  • Gula 350 gr
  • Telur 8 pcs
  • Jansen Lemon Edna 10 gr
  • Tepung Protein Rendah 400 gr
  • Angel Baking Powder 7,5 gr
  • Garam 2,5 gr
  • Jansen Vanilla 5 gr
  • Aptunion Mix Peel 200 gr
  • Mariani Raisin 150 gr
  • Kulit Jeruk Aptunion 100 gr
  • Aptunion Glace Cherries - Merah (cincang kasar) 150 gr

How to Make :

  • Add butter and sugar and grind until white
  • Add the eggs one at a time until well blended and continue by adding the Jansen Lemon.
  • Once smooth add the flour, baking powder, salt and Jansen Vanilla.
  • Add Aptunion Mix Peel, Orange Peel, Raisin and Cherry Red Glace. Mix well.
  • Put it in a 10 x 20 cm square mold which has been smeared with white shortening and parchment paper.
  • Bake in the oven at 160ºC for 60 - 75 minutes.
