Arla Mochi Waffle is an innovative snack that combines the chewy texture of mochi with the crispy shape of a baked waffle, using a blend of tapioca flour and wheat flour and premium ingredients such as Arla Pro Unsalted Butter. This dish offers a unique taste sensation with a sweet and savory filling of red bean paste (Koshian) and Arla Pizza Topping Stick that melts inside, creating a harmony of chewy texture and luxurious taste in every bite.

INGREDIENTS

 

100 gr Arla Pro Unsalted Butter

480 ml Arla Full Cream Milk UHT Organic

500 gr Arla Pizza Topping Stick

60 grams of granulated sugar

8 grams of salt

200 grams of all-purpose flour

600 grams of tapioca flour

200 grams of eggs

500 gr Yu-Ai Koshian Paste

HOW TO MAKE

Weigh out 20g of Koshian paste, then fill with 20g of ARLA PIZZA TOPPING STICKS. Shape into balls and set aside.

Make the mochi dough: In a heatproof container, combine ARLA PRO UNSALTED BUTTER, ARLA FULL CREAM MILK UHT ORGANIC milk, salt, and sugar. Cook over medium heat until boiling.

Add the prepared flour and tapioca flour and stir until evenly distributed. Remove from heat and pour into a mixing bowl. Beat with a paddle until the steam dissipates.

Add the eggs one by one and stir again until well combined. Remove from heat and place in a plastic triangle and set aside.

Preheat the waffle iron. Once hot, pour the mochi dough into the mold. Place the koshian filled with ARLA PIZZA TOPPING STICKS on top and cover with the mochi dough.

Cover the waffle iron and cook until done (approximately 10 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool.

Roll out the dough lengthwise, then fold it in half once. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.

To serve, you can use ARLA CREAM CHEESE frosting and honey.
